6-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT 2008

On Saturday, 23 August 2008 the NMMU cricket club held a fun-filled 6-a-side tournament. The tournament took the form of a sigle elimination tournament. Several teams entered the competition, some consisting of established cricketers and others consisting of recreational players. Nevertheless the competition turned out to be very competitive and enjoyable for both competitors and spectators.

The final results of the tournament saw the Pink Praws winning the competition. The Pink Prawns intimidated their opposition with players like Crazy Eyes, Murph and Prawn. Super Rudi came in second and Muller II came third.

The NMMU cricket club would like to thank all the competitors and supporters for participating in the competition. Especially those who added to the fun of the competition by wearing their own unique kit.
